On September 2014, COHED center officially completed its
technical and financial support to the establishment and launching of the 4th
homestay namely “ Đan Như Homestay” at Mai Hich commune (Mai Châu District, Hoa
Binh province). Over the last two years, COHED has supported the establishment
and operation of 4  high-quality homestay
settings  with the service capacity for  approximately 100 guests per night in this
commune. The first homestay (Minh Thơ Homestay) was launched in December 2012.
Since then, all homestay settings (owned and managed by Thai ethnic households)
in Mai Hich have built up their reputation thanks to friendly eco-tourism
service, indigenous cultural practice and hospitality services of high quality.
