On 13 November 2012, in Ho Chi Minh City, Centre for Community Health Development (COHED) collaborated with the Climate Change Steering Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to organise a workshop on “Climate change risks and health impacts: Science, policies, adaptation in the urban contexts of Vietnam”.

Development (COHED) collaborated with the Climate Change Steering
Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to organise a workshop on “Climate change
risks and health impacts: Science, policies, adaptation in the urban
contexts of Vietnam”.

The
event was supported by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (UK),
Institute for International Environment and Development (IIED), and the
International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
The workshop received 90 participants from different departments,
research institutes, domestic and international non-governmental
organizations.

The
setup of the event was aimed to share information from recent researches
on climate change and health impacts and how they link to urban
development. The workshop sought for cooperation and partnership
opportunities between international experts, researchers, and policy
makers in Vietnam.
