COHED is looking for a candidate who is qualified for the post of Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) to implement the project “ USAID Community HIV Link- Northern Coast” in Hai Phong, Nghe An and Quang Ninh provinces.

improve the lives of Vietnam’s most vulnerable communities and individuals.
The organization is specialized in public health research/intervention,
sustainable poverty reduction and climate change response.

 Position

COHED
is looking for a candidate who is  qualified for the post of  Deputy Chief of
Party (DCOP)  to implement the project “ USAID Community HIV Link- Northern
Coast” in Hai Phong, Nghe An and Quang Ninh provinces.

Scope
of work

Key
responsibilities will include:

  • Assist
    Chief of Party (COP)  in coordinating work plans and in responding to
    stakeholder requests for information; liaise with other partners and
    stakeholders as requested by COP or AOR
  • Prepare 
    all  project related reports and documents to USAID and Government of
    Vietnam  within the framework of the project
  • Provide 
    technical expertise and support to programmatic teams, including
    identifying and promoting clear communications on issues of budget
    management and programmatic activities, compliance, and documentation
  • Oversee
    the development of project budgets and contracts in coordination with
    the Accounting and Finance personnel;
  • Minimize
    fraud via active monitoring and close coordination with internal and
    external auditors; oversee the procurement function’s international and
    local procurements

 Qualification
Requirements

·        
A
minimum of a Master’s degree in management, development and/or health, or a
related field;

·        
Minimum
of 6 years professional experience in HIV/AIDS prevention and control, and at
least four years of program/project management experience. Previous
experience in working with USAID funded program is preferable;

·        
Strong
communication skills and excellent English language
.
