During 25-26 of March 2014, COHED and its local partners including Nghe An, Bac Kan provincial HIV/AIDS prevention center (PAC), Provincial Union of Science and Technology Association (in Nghe An) and District Health Centers organized two quarterly review and coordination meetings in Bac Kan and Nghe An provinces.
During 25-26
of March 2014, COHED and its local partners including Nghe An, Bac Kan provincial
HIV/AIDS prevention center (PAC), Provincial Union of Science and Technology Association (in
Nghe An) and District Health Centers organized
two quarterly review and coordination
meetings in Bac Kan and Nghe An provinces. These are two out of five project
sites which are financially supported by the Global Fund Project on HIV/AIDS
prevention. There were many representatives from different project stakeholders
to attend the meeting such as community-based organizations (CBOs), People’s
Committee at different levels, etc.
At the
meeting, COHED delivered the project report of 2013 and that of the 1st
quarter of 2014. In addition, participants actively discussed potential
solutions to improve the effectiveness of the project activities in coming
quarters.
At the
conclusion, all participatns agreed to strengthen the cooperation with COHED
Sub-project in order to better support the CBOs and improve project monitoring,
particularly project livelihoods and HIV/AIDS referral service.
